My Paragraphs for Me

“Set Hut” our Quarterback says as I leap off the ball and hit the defensive lineman hard like a bullet.  I turn him fast and powerful and we get the 1st down.  After every game we tell each other good job and good game and that’s the bond we have.  At first, I didn’t want to go out for the amazing sport but I’m glad I did because it was a heck of a season. 

            Football is associated with passion, emotion, excitement and dedication.  In order to do any sport, you must be dedicated and that is exactly what my teammates and I were to the sport of football.  There are several reasons why football is such a good sport and I am going to tell you a few.  First, football is one sport where you can release anger and frustration on the field.  Another reason football is so great is because you make stronger bonds and better relationships. Football isn’t only a sport it is a great brotherhood.  In my opinion I think football is one of the best sports on Earth.

            In this paragraph I am going to be telling you about the bond/brotherhood someone has when they play football.  One of the very close bonds you have is practicing with your friends and you want to give up but then you hear your teammates clapping and cheering you on.  During games we always help each other up and push each other to do our hardest even when we think we lost or won we just keep pushing each other.  Our coaches and the players also had a very strong bond because they taught us and showed us more skills and that is what made us have a winning record.  The day that we had to hand in our jerseys all of us were tearing up because it would be the last time us Milledgeville boys played with our friends from different towns.  When we did drills someone would get hit hard by another teammate, but the teammate is right there to make sure he is ok.  That is the type of bond that you would have in football.

            Therefore, if you ever want to go out for football you should try to sport.  Like I said the bond you would have with your teammates are very strong.  Also, in the sport you can release stress if you are very frustrated with anything.  In my opinion this is the best sport and one thing I defiantly I can say is listen to your coaches it helps.  Thank you for reading my passion essay.

           

Week:7 Holidays and Celebrations

     

                   Some of the holidays and celebrations my family celebrates are Christmas and Thanksgiving mainly.  My family is really passionate over thanksgiving because its on my mom Birthday and its not that much money unless you wanna feast.  We really love thanksgiving because we go to my Great Grandparents house and see family that we don't see that much.  Also its good to see my grandparents because they are getting old.




           Another holiday we celebrate pretty widely is Christmas.  Me and my sister usually wake up a few hours before my parents and always bug them to get up.  We always get told to go to bed but its to hard so i usually hop on fortnite.  Then my parents wake up and we open presents then go to my Grandpas.  We see our family and show off our presents to our cousins.  Those are the holidays that me and my family
celebrate the most.

Veterans Essay   By: Sye Dodson

         

            Veterans Day, a very special day for a very special group of men and women.  I feel that Veterans and active military personnel are honored greatly by the men and women across the country.  Veterans are very special because they fought for our country and gave us freedom knowing that their lives were always on the line.  As my grandpa Greg Blackburn said, “We didn’t fight to be heroes we fought so mother, father, sister, brother, friends, and family would get to sleep at night knowing that they would be safe.” 

             Veterans are the backbone of this country. Veterans aren’t only important to our history, but they are also important to our future.  Without them, there would be no United States of America. No Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness. And no way to ensure that our country will continue to be the land of the free it has been known to be.  Veterans have protected our rights as Americans and made the dreams of our founding fathers possible.  War, although awful, is hard to avoid but fortunately, our future veterans will be there to protect our blessed American land and values. 

            Our veterans were afraid as well, but they answered the call of duty and rose up to fight for our nation. Many had to deal with hunger, loss, pain, and agony but still they fought with a purpose, willing to give the ultimate sacrifice. Though some are now old and hurting, suffering from PTSD, or just trying to fit back into society we acknowledge their service and display our gratitude as much as possible.  We should honor them because they are our history, our real-life heroes and our models for the nation.

            Today the military is more heavily engaged in helping others throughout the world. In the past five years, military aircraft have air-dropped food into Ethiopia, helicoptered aid into remote villages in Sudan, rescued flood victims in Bangladesh, and delivered medical teams to hundreds of major and minor disasters. The caring and selfless spirit of our past veterans continues to live on in the hearts of those currently enlisted.  In the mist of all that the military is always helping with everything America needs. 

            So, thank you veterans, past, present and future for your service. You will never be forgotten and we as citizens will forever be obligated to you. Just as you have shaped our history, you will shape our future. Continue to be the few, the strong, and the brave.

MUSIC

This week for the blogging challenge is music.  The type of music i like is R&B.  The types of artists i like to listen to are lil mosey, lil skies, ski mask, juice wrld, kanye west.  When i am listening to music when im feeling sad is xxxtentacion and lil peep.  Another music type i like is 80s, 90s rock music when im with my dad becasuse he hates the music i listen to.

 I choose the leaves because i liked the color of the leaves.  Another thing i liked about the leaves is all of the different kinds of leaves.  One more thing is the back is like blurry and the Front is very cool.
I choose the flower because it shows all of the different petals.  Also is the blurry part is the flower then the green in the back. I like the details on the flower also.

We have been working with run-on sentences, and different ways to avoid writing them.  Our teacher asked us to create three different memes: each containing a sentence that shows a different way to avoid writing run-ons. Each memes connect the meme.

Something that surprised me on what I learned is that people can sue you even if you use their picture for you background.  I learned that when i upload a picture on the internet i have to put mu URL on the information for the picture.  So i thought about it and the reason i wont use Google Images so freely is so i don't get sued.

            Hello, my name is Sye and have very interesting things that happen in my life and I will be telling you a few things that goes on in my life and some o my interests.  My first thing I look for in a friend is someone that is nice, has their friends back, and lastly can take jokes and not get offended easily so therefore if you fit these qualities of a person then I will probably like you.  My favorite hobby would have to be football because I am built like a football player and love getting hard hits and tackles, also I love having my adrenaline rushing through my blood like a fast rushing river so therefore as you can see football is a thrill for me. 

            So you can get to know me better I will be telling you what interests me.  Camping and fishing are my main interest because I would love to one day camp in every state in the USA.  Also I love fishing and my dream is to one day fish in the ocean.  One person i would love to go fishing with is FirstStateFishing he is one of my favorite fishing youtubers because he has good content and explains what he is doing really good. 

            Some of the things on my bucket list is go skydiving and deep sea fishing.  These are my dreams because it would be a thrill to go skydiving and reel in a giant fish.  I hate height so much but i feel like I would get over my fear if i went skydiving.  Therefore you know what i like to do and what kind of person i am.  Have a good day!!!
